Local pubs & restaurants

A few of our favourites are listed below (note in high season/school holiday, booking asap in advance is highly recommended):

The Orange Tree (Thornham) – popular pub and one of our favourites, with large, covered beer garden.

The Gin Trap (Ringstead) –  lovely spot for an evening drink in the garden if the sun is out.

The Duck (Stanhoe) – the nearest pub/restaurant to the Cottage (just 2 miles away). Menu varies each week, sourcing lots of local produce.

The Victoria (Holkham) – located at the entrance to Holkham Hall, and really handy for either visiting the Holkham Estate or Brancaster beach.
